Grilled "Baked" Potatoes

Grilled "Baked" Potatoes recipe
We can't stand the heat, so we're taking baked potatoes out of the kitchen for summer. The grill makes them fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside.

I'm not a big fan of baked potatoes, but I love these.

very easy and time saving. i dread having to cook potatos so long in the oven or the grill and this really cuts down on the time, but the taste is still the same.

Great tip!!! My husband was amazed by the time difference between microwaving and baking/grilling of baked potatoes.

This was a good recipe...nothing outstanding but good. It made the potatoes "better" than just cooking them in the microwave where they get mushy and the skin wrinkles up.

i love this recipe because my family loves potatoes from the grill, but they take so long and most the time the skin on the outside is burnt and not done in the middle, plus you dont have to heat up the house with the oven to make the skin crunchy

We tried this out last night, mostly out of curiosity. They were really good! The smokey flavor permeated the potatoes quite nicely and was such a nice change of pace. Very easy too! We used med. sized new potatoes, so it went very quickly, and the salt seemed to melt away as the oil heated up. What an interesting new way (for us) to enjoy a potato in the summer time.
