My family liked these. But like others have said, the patties fell apart. And I could not taste the salmon. I love the help other commenters provide. I will take their advice and add an egg and another can of salmon next time. Also, some people complained about the bones and skin on the salmon. I used to avoid fixing salmon patties because of that. Now I buy cans of salmon with the bones and skin already removed. More expensive but worth it to me.

My husband gave this a 10! I did not refrigerate for an hour but this did not pose a problem; was afraid they would fall apart but this was not the case. Very, very tasty.

In process of making right now, just put in fridge, made w/leftover red snapper. We had the grilled w/chorizo last night and had massive left so making fish cakes tomorrow for dinner and enchiladas for Thurs and having fish-fry today!!this fish has provided for 5 dinners for family of 3 hearty eaters!!! Have made the Salmon cakes in the past and that is why I rated superb, because super-easy and based on taste w/salmon, I am sure we will not be disappointed!

We make these quite often. Not a huge fan of tuna but these are a hit at our house! They are very versatile because you can really use a variety of add-ins altering the flavor and texture to fit with whatever sides you are serving.

This was quick, easy and good!!! I froze the remaining patties and gave some to a friend to taste. She liked them as well. This is a great breakfast or lunch side dish.

This recipe was in the winter 2007 issue of Food & Family magazine. I have used it many many times with the tuna options. It is wonderful and my husband loves it.

I made these last night and they were delish. A couple of changes though, I added an egg and an additional can of salmon to have less of a "stove top" taste and to actually taste the salmon and they were Yummy!
