I've made this recipe with tuna and with salmon. Both times it was wonderful. It's very easy to make. The recipe makes approx. 9 cakes which is nice if you have unexpected dinner guests.

I thought it was wonderful. I added 2 grated carrots, dill weed, and green onions to the salmon. I, also, used miracle whip light instead of real mayo. I was very impressed because I have tried making salmon patties before without oil and with only egg white or no egg and they always fell apart. These were really great! Brenda

I used crab and mixed it with cheese, relish, celery and green pepper. I happened to have all the ingredients in the cupboard, even the cornbread Stove Top! This recipe was a hit, and my parents are picky about the crabcakes they like. Even my 15 year old nephew loved them!

This was so easy & delicious! I made w/ tuna & celery. Years ago I had something in a restaurant called "salmon patties" and I've longed for something like them since...this was it! Great!

Very Easy to prepare, used the Stove Top Roasted Garlic Mix for the crabcakes. Will definitely be making this again!

I did not use canned .salmon. We had baked fresh salmon for dinner the night before and I used the left over salmon. I am sure I had a little more then would be in can but I didn't have to drain it, I just broke it up and my family loved it
