I substituted canned chicken, used pizza cheese as add-in, mushrooms for veggie, and served with barbeque sauce (considered using cream of chicken and mushroom soup instead of the mayo). They were absolutely delicious! Copied the recipe for neighbors and co-workers.
After putting our kids down one Friday night in Lent, I realized I didn't have anything defrosted for our own dinner. It was getting late, I was tired and cranky and couldn't stand another veggie pizza. Fortunately, I had all the ingredients for this recipe on hand--I used crab meat and pre-cut julienned carrots. I added a little more mayo to bind this as well as curry powder. Instead of frying the whole time I fried until both sides were browned and put them into a 350 oven for about 8-10 minutes while I got the other things ready--salad, rice and steamed brocolli. My husband and I enjoyed this with lots of lemon squeezed on top and our 2 1/2 yr. old loved it the next day for lunch with tons-o-ketchup.

This is an awsome recipe, I made this with crab meat and salmon, both were terrific, easy and fast to prepare. I highly recommended!!!
I made it with tuna and we found it to be very good. We will try the salmon next. Need to make sure to brown good before turning or will stick to pan.
I made the tuna fish variation--Delicious! My kids love helping make this easy recipe. I thought it was a bit mushy, too--especially after you let it sit in the fridge a few minutes to stiffen. I'd recommend using slightly less water when you mix this up--more like 2/3 cup.
this was very quick and easy, not to mentin delicious! i barely got any of them because they went so fast!
I thought the stuffing mix made the patties mushy. Next time I would crush the stuffing mix. I would also try adding a little hot sauce for more flavor.
I was the only one in the family that like this recipe. I was told I never have to make it again.
It is easy and tasty! You can try many variation and be creative! A+++ quickies!
