We don't eat salmon but wanted my kids to try it. I used the crabby patty concept and it wored GREAT! My 6 yr old loved it. My husband isn't a salmon fan but liked it.

Easy, yummy, and a great snack! I made the tuna ones last week just to keep around, worked great for lunch and snacking!

I have made this several times with salmon and with tuna. Both versions were really good. I tell my kids they are crabby patties, like what sponge bob eats. I've found the easiest way to get them to stick together is to place the mixture in a measuring cup, pack it really tight in there and then place it on the skillet.

I made this recipe with tuna. I added green peppers, onions, and cheddar cheese. It was quick, easy, and deliciously different. Definately a keeper!

tastes like fish-flavored stuffing patties

I had a little trouble with the patties staying together, party because I'm kind of impatient and didn't let them stay in the fridge in patty form for an hour. But, they were delicious. I made the crab version. I swapped the mayo for light mayo and egg white & mustard in place of the tartar sauce. and added scallions & green bell pepper. Very good, made me feel like I can enjoy "cakey" crab cakes again without all the fat.

I made this recipe with tuna, and I wasn't too fond of it. Next time I'm going to try using crab meat, I'm sure it'll come out much better!

I love salmon cakes and used to only use my mother's recipe before I found this one. Let me tell you...the lemon juice and mayo and cheese in the mix???? WONDERFUL! That combo brought out so much flavor in the salmon. Needless to say, I gave up my mom's recipe and use this one every time. I have not tried the crab yet...

I make these all the time. They are so easy to make. I use salmon or flavored tuna. I throw in different veggies or cheeses. I usually use Italian bread crumbs and it turns out great!

Wonderful!!!Kids loved it as well as grandparents/husband... would definitely make again. Most likely a weekly recipe.
