I love to make this and if I am being lazy I just make it a cake with no flowers. Tastes just as great.

I've made these a few times for different occasions and they're a huge hit! The kids love eating the marshmallows off the top. The only thing I do differently, is that I use an M&M candy for the middle instead of a mini marshmallow. Great presentation!!

This is an easy recipe that really good in presentation. My three year old picked out these cupcakes for her birthday party and they were a big hit. I recommend that regular frosting be used in place of whipped topping, because I found that the whipped topping melted and dripped over the sides of the cupcakes. I had to remove it and replace it with white icing. I would make them again for a shower or girly birthday party!

Use any kind of cupcakes & regular frosting for simplicity. Colored marshamallows make for interesting variety. Tip for cutting the marshmallows - spray clean kitchen shears with non-stick cooking spray before cutting each marshmallow. It works great!

The recipe was fun to make and it did taste good but because the marshmallows were sticky it was difficult to work with them.
