I make this soda bread every year on St. Patrick's Day. It is the best recipe I have found. Love it!

I am not a baker, this was very simple and I did use cranberries instead.

I made this for St. Patrick's Day and the whole family loved it and wants me to make it again. I left the raisins out because we do not especially like them. Because I am on a gluten-free diet, I made it with gluten-free Bisquick.

This is the most wonderful soda bread I have ever made. I substituted 1 c whole wheat flour for the total flour and it was great. The best part is that it was so easy. Also used low fat buttermilk.

This is a WONDERFUL bread. Easy to make and I add some touches, like walnuts and dried cranberries. I make it often and my family loves it!

I also used 1 full cup of currans, but no other changes. The bread turned out great. Really didn't need butter but spread some on anyway.

I made this recipe for St. Patrick's Day, and I sprinkled course green sugar on top. Very Pretty! This bread has a delicious flavor, and it is porous enough to absorb lots of butter!!! YUM!!! A hit with the family!!!
