I made the Soda Bread for St. Patrick's Day Dinner. It was excellent good crust and great texture. I will make it again this year

Recipe is a good, basic irish soda bread. Try greasing a round cake pan, press your dough so it reaches all ends, cut an "X" in the top, middle. Much easier, and prettier end result over trying to form a round loaf by hand.

very good easy to make I omitted the raisins though as I do not think they belong in soda bread if being used with a meat dish. Use the raisins for a sweet bread with tea.

I made this soda bread for St. Patrick's Day and my family loved it. I put in the raisins and also some dried cranberries. I will definitely make again. This was very easy. Thank you Kraft.

I decided to make this bread for my Irish boyfriend instead of buying it like I normally do. I will never buy it again. This was way better than store bought. We were all surprised how much we liked it. I added twice the amount of raisins and it turned out delicious. It wasn't dry but rather moist.

I have made this bread the last four years for St.Patrick's Day dinner. What does not get eaten during dinner goes at breakfast time. I bake it in an iron skillet and it turns out GREAT each time! My family request it every year. P.S. I double the amount of raisins and soak them for 1/2 hour in hot water before adding them to the batter.

It was a nice change and the recipe was very easy. I used dried cranberries and added double what the recipe called for, but I should have added even more. Definitely not enough!
