I made tostada bowls by draping flour tortillas over foil balls before baking. (Couldn't find the soft taco kit.) I also added avocado, sliced olives, and sour cream as toppings. Very yummy!

It has too much sodium!!!! Try making it without using the seasoning mix in the package. Make it with you own seasoning mix or one with much less salt!!

A great way to get more veggies in your diet. I've even added sauteed zucchini, red & green bell peppers and onions to the mix. Yummy!!!!

To make this recipe a little juicer I would mix in a small can of tomato sauce.

My family likes meat so we just added the rice mixture to the meat we cooked and added the water as directed on the seasoning package. It was delicious!!!!

This was fantastic and so easy. My vegetarian and non-vegetarian teenagers loved it. I used Minute Brown Rice instead of the white and increased it to 2 cups.

It was yummy...but like the other comments said...a little dry. I think maybe the next time I make it I will add the sour cream and maybe even some diced tomatoes. Super easy to make....less than 10-15 minutes...

some onion and sour cream on top made it better yet. The salt count could of been less that 1300 mg's of it though.

My family loved this dish. I used soya instead of the rice. It takes 20 minutes to soak, to it added to the cooking time. It is prepared just like ground beef and taste great.
