Taco Bake

Taco Bake recipe

We had a hunch about these two. And sure enough, fireworks. Ooey-gooey mac and cheese pairs up with the Tex-Mex flavors of tacos for a match made in heaven.

I always double the recipe, because I have a big family and there is NEVER any leftovers. :) A huge hit, and a definite go-to when I don't feel like being fancy.

It was a hit, and I added a refried bean layer over the beef.

This has been made many times in my home & everyone loves it, it's even made it into the rotation!! :-)

Not my most favorite thing..But the kids and hubby love it. It does need some crunch. So I will try to add the tortilla chips next time

Great and simple to prepare!

Easy and tasty. More salsa is called for otherwise not enough flavor/kick for our family.

Best we have had in a long time. My family like it so well we had to make it for dinner again the next night. I did add crushed corn chips to the top for that little extra

This was a quick and easy weekday meal. I used taco sauce instead of salsa, but I'm sure either way would be good. I will make again!

Wow, high fat...high carbs..low fiber. No wonder it tastes great. Haven't made it..Never will. Not a healthy choice.

This is now one of our family favorites - my husband loves it. I lighten it up by using low fat sour cream, whole wheat mac & cheese, 97% lean ground beef, and the reduced fat cheese. Also, we don't put cheese in the middle, just on top. I like to serve with extra salsa, diced tomato, shredded lettuce and other taco toppings. Reheats well the next day too.
