Taco Bake

Taco Bake recipe

We had a hunch about these two. And sure enough, fireworks. Ooey-gooey mac and cheese pairs up with the Tex-Mex flavors of tacos for a match made in heaven.

I have made this recipe over and over again for my kids and grandkids when they come over for dinner. There's barely enough left over for my husband and me for the next day. I did increase the amount of ground beef to 1-1/2 to 2 lbs., and the sour cream to 8 oz. and just put it in a larger casserole dish and it still came out great. Adding the crushed corn chips is a great idea.

Fabulous meal! So great for kids especially. My daughter is almost 3 years old and loves it (minus the salsa). Such a quick, easy meal.

This recipe was flavorful and easy to make. It was not great reheated, but was good when fresh. I would give it a 4 out of 5.

My husband and I love this dish. We have made it a few times and did not change a single thing with the recipe. Highly recommended.
