What You Need

fresh peaches, sliced (about 5 cups)

1/3

cup maple-flavored or pancake syrup

1/4

cup packed brown sugar

Tbsp. MINUTE Tapioca

Tbsp. lemon juice

1/2

tsp. ground cinnamon

1/4

tsp. ground nutmeg

cup all-purpose baking mix

Tbsp. granulated sugar

1/4

cup milk

Make It

HEAT oven to 375°F.

TOSS peaches with next 6 ingredients in large saucepan. Bring to boil on medium heat, stirring occasionally. Pour into 9-inch square baking dish.

STIR baking mix, granulated sugar and milk in medium bowl until mixture forms soft dough. Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls onto hot fruit mixture.

BAKE 28 to 30 min. or until biscuits are golden brown.

This recipe was fantastic and very easy. My family enjoys eating this for breakfast. It's low in calories, meets one of our daily fruit servingsplus gets everyone to eat a healthy cereal without fuss!

this appears to be a better way of making this recipe it is i think homemade. betty crocker has the recipe and it's made with bisquick. it was good but i liked this way better.

I didn't like it although it did get good reviews from my family picnic. It was the nutmeg that I didn't care for. I would make it again w/out the nutmeg, but with more sugar, I think.
