The entire family LOVES this recipe! I made it 3 times this summer, and I plan to have it a few more before it gets too cold!

Very Good! So simple to make and so tasty. I did use a different bbq sauce, I used what ever we had here. I will make again and again.

Very good! The chicken came out so moist. I used garlic powder in place of cloves since I did not have any on hand. I cooked in the oven at 300 for about 20 minutes before putting on the grill. When I do it again, I'll up that to about 35 minutes to prevent some overcooking on the skin. My 4lb chicken took only about an hour and 10 minutes. I think cooking it ahead of time a little cut down on the total cook time, plus every grill is different. So just keep an eye on it.

The chicken was so moist and tender, but it took FOREVER to cook because our chicken was close to 4lbs. Will make this again when we have a lot of time on hand.

This recipe was very good the only thing that did differently was that I seasoned the outside of the chicken with seaoned salt and garlic powder. I also roasted it in the oven. The chicken was tender and juicy. The next time I make the recipe I will baste it with more BBQ sauce.
