The recipe I use doesn't use milk, believe it or not. The key is not to over cook. I first got the recipe "years" ago from someone who made them. I was never really a big pork sausage fan, so I knew the first time I made them I was going to use something like ham, and I came across a country ham sausage in the grocery store and I've made it that way from day one, and ever since. Love the pancake mix idea!
