Cheesecake Sandwiches

Cheesecake Sandwiches recipe

Those frozen cookie sandwiches you had as a kid are all grown up, with cheesecake filling and a dip of rich chocolate. Just like you, evolved for the better.

I made these cookies when my grand children came over for a visit. I froze them some before I dipped them. The kids liked them, but me and my husband liked them to much. I had to make him stop eating them. We both love chocolate and these were so easy and so good.

I made homemade chocolate chip cookies (1000x better than store-bought) and put in the filling thicker than what it called for. Loved it!!! It is much easier to dip the cookies in the chocolate (I just melted Baker's semi-sweet choco squares with a little butter) after the sandwiches have been chilled for several minutes in the freezer.

Won't add the melted chocolate next time, but loved the icing in the middle.

My entire, sometimes picky, family loved this, plus it is so simple.

Thought it was good not great. The cheesecake filling did not really have any taste. I added some vanilla but the kids still thought it was bland. Also, it was difficult to dip the filled sandwiches into the chocolate. The filling would seep out into the chocolate. If I was to make it again I would freeze the sandwhiches for awhile before I dipped them. I also used dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate.

This recipe is GREAT! I used dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate which is much more sinful and a lot better for you!!

This dessert was a hit with the kids! But I think i enjoyed it more than they did. This could also be a great afternoon treat. Can't wait to make this again.

this was really good! I drizzled the chocolate instead of dipping it. Everyone loved them! Will definitely make em again!
