I made this for the Thanksgiving appetizer and it was a big hit. But i did use a the whole 8 oz of cheese and made it the day before, i think that helped let all the ingredients set in. I would make this again, and have already been asked from others for this recipe!!

The nice thing about this recipe is that it's so easy. But it is more of a salsa than a creamy dip if made according to the recipe. Since I wanted something creamier I just made it with a full block of cream cheese and half a jar of salsa a little extra shrimp. It was a pretty shade of orange!

This was a good recipe but I do agree that it is missing something. I can be a little to runny and I wonder what could be added to thicken it up. It still had a good taste and will make again. Also I do wonder what it would be like warmed up! Other than that love the shrimp in it!!!

This is a great, simple recipe. Dips don't have to take alot of ingredients to taste great. I did add some salt to the canned shrimp before I added them to bring out the flavor and help draw out the liquid. This seemed to help with the flavor a bit!

I like to use the whole brick of cream cheese (8oz) - makes it a little more creamy and tones down the salsa just a tad.

It WAS missing something and that thing was is needed to be warmed up in a pot on the stove and then put LOADS of cheese mix up and serve and its AWESOME!
