I made this recipe for Thanksgiving this year, and i thought that it was wonderful, the nutmeg and cinnamon tasted so great with it, the only problem that i had was that the pie crust got too brown. but other than that no problems , i reccomend this recipe to anyone that loves sweet potato pie.
The pie was really good. If you've been looking for that just right sweet potato pie recipe that's easy to make - this is it! ----- make it even easier by using canned sweet potatoes or yams - 30 oz can.
this pie is wonderful.......easy to make and very tasty. I have made it over and over again. I would recommend it highly.
Too much nutmeg. Just not what I was looking for.
Very easy to make and delicious! There was a little too much cinnamon and nutmeg for my taste, so I'll go easier on those next time...otherwise, it was just wonderful!

made this during the holidays and must admit that it was the best of all the others my husband and i were subjected to. i made mine with the "ginger crumb crust", which was fantastic. there was a slight mishap though with the first attempt at the crust and i had to make another one. i will use this recipe again during thanksgiving and christmas.
