I followed the recipe except I added 1 Cup of fresh strawberries to the cheese mixture. I did not like this recipe too much. It was too rich and could not eat much at a time.

This was delicious. I made this for a pot-luck at work and everyone raved about it. Like the previous comments, I used fresh strawberries, which made the filling really soft as it sat overnight. If I were to make this again, I would use powdered sugar to help it stay more firm. I used 2 cups graham cracker crumbs, a half stick of butter and a third of a cup of sugar for the crust. For the filling, I used 2 pkgs cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, 2 cups Cool Whip, 2 cups strawberries. You can use a mixer to mix in the Cool Whip and strawberries so the filling will turn pink and look more "strawberry-ish". Using the fresh strawberries makes it live up to the recipe name.

I just picked pounds of strawberries so I decided to try the other suggestion of strawberries rather than the strawberry cool whip. I added about a cup to the cream cheese and sugar mixture and beat it for 1 minute to break up the strawberries. Then after adding the cool whip, I put about 6 more sliced berries for more texure. It was so delicious! Going to get another pie crust and cream cheese to make another one tomorrow with my remaining fresh strawberries!

I could not find strawberry flavored cool whip, so I just added a bunch of strawberries to the mix, and turned out yummy! I love the lightness of it, it's prefect after a heavy BBQ dinner.

Very delicious! Husband loved it...it was gone in 2 nights! I would reccomend adding twice the strawberries in the cheesecake mixture, just chop fine.

Yummy. I made this for Easter and my two kids kept saying "this is great Mom" The grocery store did not have strawberry Cool Whip, so I used strawberry cream cheese and regular Cool Whip.
