After reading mixed reviews I was skeptical, but went ahead and made these cookies, and was pleasantly surprised. Granted, they didn't make as many as the recipe said, but that was no big surprise, few ever do. Don't let the negative reviews sway you from trying this recipe...mine were perfect.

Very quick and easy!

I will not make this again. the cookie does not hold togeher it crumbles. It needs flour to hold it together or something.

I've been baking this recipe since I was little. It was the first one my mom ever taught me. You don't need the vanilla, or the peanuts. If you want them crunchy, you can use crunchy PB instead of creamy.

Very easy to make & budget friendly. Cookies came out perfectly at the hands of an amateur such as myself. A good recipe for bakers with little experience.

Just finished making my first batch and they were great. I love chewy peanut butter cookies and these were just perfect. The dough was also perfect w/ no problems and certainly did not melt. I will definitely make this recipe again.

Awesome!!! Cookies were super simple and very yummy. The only thing I found different was the amount of cookies the recipe actually makes compared to what it is supposed to make. A 1" dough ball is a 1" dough ball but I can not get nearly the cookies I'm supposed to. And no I wasn't eating the dough. :) Perfect recipe though. Definitely a keeper again and again.

OK - these were horrible! dough? what dough? runny - could not form into balls - when placed on cookie sheet/baked they melted into one another and became one big blob! only makes 1 dozen & I used a teaspoon will not make again - definitely needs flour!

lots of the 4 and 5 star reviews altered the recipe as its written, the recipe is simply awful. cookies come out grainy, greasy, and crumbly. whoever wrote the recipe has clearly never made it because the idea that it makes 36 cookies is beyond laughable
