I love this recipe! It's a great, sweet way to get kids to eat spinach. I have also had it in the fall and winter with carmalized pecans and craisins! Both versions are wonderful!

While I haven't made the recipe yet, I definitely will. I do have to agree with the person about the dressing. The poppy seed dressing is wonderful; it is now my favorite dressing!

It was excellent! Even my kids ate this one. I had to substitute the Bibb Lettuce with Romain due to not being able to find it. I would eat this again. I pour the dressing on the salad and let it chill for about 10 minutes before serving.

This salad is sweet, light and delicious. My wife has made a variation of this, adding thinly sliced rings of red onion. Everyone winces when they hear strawberry & onions, but they love it once they eat it!

Good salad but use Kraft reduced Fat Raspberry Vinegrette, add thins sliced red onion and instead of the candied almonds, I used 1/2 cup of the Poppycock Mixed nuts, chopped. Yum

I made this for me and the kids had pizza. I ended up with only a few bites of the salad and the kids eat my salad leaving me pizza. They loved it!!!

We have loved the Poppy Seed dressing since it came out. We love salads and this is the best. So refreshing.

I actually made this recipe and then tried adding mandarin orange slices, red onion, and feta cheese. And instead of going through the trouble of carmelizing almonds, I just added already oven roasted and sliced almonds. Everyone I have made this for has truly enjoyed it and asked for the recipe...and the creamy poppyseed dressing is just the right touch to make the salad complete.

I did not like the dressing or adding sugar to the salad, but I have a really good variation. Add plain walnuts instead of carmelized nuts, and instead of poppyseed try a blush wine vinagrette. I only use a few drops of the dressing and it goes a long way. Also try adding raspberries and blueberries and some feta cheese!
