Strawberry Freeze

Strawberry Freeze recipe
Fresh berries in and on whipped, chilled cream cheese would have been enough. But no. We're upping the ante with a chocolate chip cookie crust. Pure heaven.

I have made a similar recipe using crushed pretzels instead of cookies. The mixture of sweet/salty was great.

This was a huge hit for Father's Day last year. My family couldn't get enough of it! It didn't last long enough to melt or get messy!

This is one of my favorite desserts to make for company. It's so easy & looks great. I use fresh strawberries & crush them with my food processor. Sometimes I add a few drops of food coloring for a more rich color & once in a while add a splash of Strawberry Extract for a more intense taste. Try making the crust with Oreos or Thin Mints.

I 100% agree with an earlier comment that the desert was too sweet, several people it too agreed. Also, it was very messy. After only setting teh desert out for a few minutes in the kitchen, it began melting rapidly.

I loved this. We didn't have time to let it freeze all the way and it was still very good. Pleased everyone.

My teenagers love this recipe, and ask me to make all the time. I use different juice flavors everytime, whatever I have in the freezer, and it turns out a little different each time. We have shared it with friends also and everyone loves it.

I tried this dessert at a BBQ. I thought it was excellent and would recommend it to anyone. It's great to enjoy on a hot day.
