Strawberry Freeze recipe

Fresh berries in and on whipped, chilled cream cheese would have been enough. But no. We're upping the ante with a chocolate chip cookie crust. Pure heaven.

I had the benefit of using 1 cup of home-grown, slightly sweetened, pre-frozen crushed strawberries, so this turned SUPER SPECIAL GOOD. Since I didn’t know how much sugar had been added to the berries, I cut the sugar to 1/4 cup. Didn’t have the proper cookies, so I subbed Rainbow Chocolate Chip ones. Decreased the juice concentrate to 8 oz. (1 cup), and used guava strawberry. Couldn’t garnish it with the sour, hard berries from the grocery store (they would have ruined a wonderful dessert). Do try this with vine-ripened berries!!!

This dessert was a big hit at our recent family get-together. It not only was delicious, but attractive as well. I would recommend crushing the cookies for easier slicing.

Good, but I used a frozen fruit punch for a very tangy and unique taste. Wasn't quite as sweet as I had expected.

fixed this for the family reunion and was a big hit. everyone wanted to know how to fix such a delious dessert and was it as hard as it looked.

I loved this, it has such intense flavor. The cookie crust was a little difficult to cut into slices, so next time I'll crush my cookies for more ease.

I have made this recipe a number of times, AND EVERYONE JUST RAVED ABOUT IT ! I didn't have the ccckies when I made it so I used a graham cracker pie crust I had and I didn't have juice, so I used frozen Strawberry Daiquiri Mix. It made it tart and everyone loved it. So I've made it as a pie, and the way it's shown in your recipe and I can make it and just put it in a container and put it in the freezer and take out a scoop when I want some. I've made it for my BIble study group, and for Potluck dinner at out clubhouse, and for dinner parties ... it's easy, quick, and really great. Thanks for a winner !!!!

I served this dessert last night for a book club meeting. Everybody loved it! It is very easy to make and very tasty.
