Chicken Marsala

Chicken Marsala recipe
There isn't an Italian restaurant in town that doesn't make this dish. You can make it at home in 30 minutes, with a seriously authentic sauce. That's American ingenuity.

this recipe is very good. i don't like the minute rice but the recipe is good.
My family like it. I dusted flour on the chicken before cooking it because I dont like corn starch. Was excelent, also used portabello's.
My fiance is a picky eater and even he loved this recipe! He was convinced there would never be a marsala chicken as good as Macaroni Grill... and this recipe proved him wrong.
Wow! This was so easy and really good! My husband even used the word "superb". I doubled the wine recipe also, so good. Enjoy this keeper.
I double the amount of sauce (everyone loves the gravy!!). I also lightly pounded out the chicken breast to tenderize them. It was delicious.
This recipe seemed a little 'blah' to me, so I kicked it up a notch. I used seasoned flour on my chicken filets before browning. I added a pat (about 1 tbs. of butter to onions and garlic while sauteing which added calories, but the flavor enhancement was worth it. Important... I used sliced baby portabella mushrooms instead of the regular white ones (Boom!... flavor boost!!!) I also used brandy instead of the marsala wine since my family does not like overly sweet dishes and I used noodles instead of rice. I used the seasoned flour to thicken the broth/gravy instead of cornstarch (which is so yucky anyhow). I promise anyone who made this dish and said it was too bland, needs to try it my way... My youngest who hates mushrooms, was begging for more! And my husband, also a great cook himself, couldn't get over how good it was and it was the first time I had ever made it! Oh, and you can actually enjoy the mushroom sauce over the noodles and omit the chicken altogether if you li
I thought this recipe was quick and easy. It does need extra marsala sause. I altered the recipe some. I didn't have dry wine, so I used white wine instead. I used a 1/4 C and the rest was chicken broth. Added the zing that the others are saying that this recipe lacked. Pretty good!
This recipie was okay, we ate it, but I don't think I will make it again. I tried the suggestions of others to add more garlic, wine, and salt but it still just wasn't very tasty.
I found it a little bland, next time I will add more garlic and salt. Also you need to make more sauce. I also added a little gravy master for added color.
I was going to make this for my sister's birthday dinner and my husband ended up doing the cooking for me. It was an easy delicious recipe and everyone loved it. There were six of us so we had to make a little extra marsala sauce. I would definitely recommend plenty of extra marsala sauce. My husband commented that if he were to make this again, he would probably serve with a rice pilaf instead of white rice. Once you make a new dish for the first time, you can experiment with different things the next time you make it. Very tasty!
