I also made this recipe with strawberries instead of peaches, it was equally as good.

Great summertime dessert! Light and so easy to make, and I don't even like peaches.

PREPARED THIS RECIEPE WITH REDUCED CALORIE JELLO AND COOL WHIP VERY REFRESHING CHILLED REAL WELL IN MY STAINLESS MIXING BOWL MAYBE THOSE WHO HAD TROUBLE WITH IT SETTING DID NOT LET THE COOL WHIP COME TO A COMPLETE THAW WHICH WOULD CAUSE IT TO BE MORE LOOSE. EVERYONE ENJOYED IT

This was delicious. My whole family loved it. I had no problems getting the jello to harden. I even substituted reduced fat Nilla Wafers, low fat butter, and fat free Cool Whip for a healthier version. It was great.

I had all the ingredients, got everything ready, and was looking forward to a delicious dessert. Well, I didn't get very far. The orange jello would no thicken!!!!! I even left it in the refrigerator for a few hours, but to no avail. I was very disappointed to say the least. I hope other recipes don't turn out this way.

I was concerned when I first mixed the jello because it wasn't setting up after 10 minutes of being in ice. I went ahead and mixed in the Cool-Whip and it was still sloshy. Left it in the fridge for 2 hours and it still was not firm. Frustrated that I ruined it I left it in the fridge for dinner the next day. Overnight it finally solidified and was very good. The girlfriend's family was impressed that I made it from scratch.
