I made this for Christmas last year and it was very good the whole pie went in minutes. The only thing is my final product looked nothing like the picture.

The chocolate dipped oreos on top are what make this one stand out from all the rest. How many different ways can you make a pudding pie? I've seen hundreds of ways. And while this is all-in-all pretty simple and basic the chocolate dipped oreos give that special little touch to take it to the next level. This is not just a pudding pie people, it's a pudding pie with oreos on top:) I wouldn't ever really serve a pudding pie to guests. I like something that looks like a little more work went into it. This worked for me. I served it to guests and they really loved it. And I didn't feel like I was skimping on the dessert. The oreos do get pretty hard after being in the fridge. We had a couple pieces left over and after they sat in the pie a little longer it softened them up, they weren't mush or anything but they were a lot easier to eat:)

My husband loved this - I found the dipping of the cookies to be a bit over rated but it was good.

Made this recipe the less fat way and put it in the refrigerator, it was gone before I awoke the next morning. My roomates devoured it, I ended up making two more, one for them and one to take to a gathering.
