My daughter loves cantaloupes, I surprised her one day! And she was in heaven with this recipe.
This went over great at our family's reunion. Easy to make, healthy, and everyone loved it. Not messy at all. When we was done we fed the rinds to the ducks at the lake
This was a fantastic dessert for our family picnic this Memorial Day. Not too heavy, it suited both the adults and thrilled the kids. I used a honeydew and a cantaloupe, and two types of Jello - sugar free raspberry and sugar free strawberry banana. I mixed and matched - Half the raspberry into one of the cantaloupe halves, and the other half into one of the honeydew halves. I used cold sparkling water for both types of Jello, and mixed raspberries and a little mint into the raspberry jello, and strawberry and banana slices into the strawberry banana jello. After leaving in the fridge overnight, I froze all of the melon halves for 1 hr each, then loaded them into the cooler, and sliced them on site. They were a humongous hit! :)
My kids loved making and eating these. I couldn't believe how easy it was to make. I will be making these many more times.
this is a great summer treat. easy way to get the kids in the kitchen to help make and eat.
I made it for my son and it made a lot. Best for a party with lots of kids.
Took this to a neighborhood bbq-big hit! Everyone thought I spent hours on them. I mixed in halved grapes.
Great for guests, family, and kids! They absolutely LOVED it! I used "sugar free" Jell-O instead of regular and used sparkling cherry spritzer instead of cold water and topped it with sugar free cool whip or sugar free whipped cream. Everyone enjoyed it! :)
I made this for a summer treat for my kids and their friends and they ask for it all the time now. We also used green apples, cherry fat free jello and red seedless grapes sliced. These are excellent for those hot summer days.
My mom made this for our Father's Day barbecue - very cool!! Everyone (young and old) were very impressed and thought it was great!! And good for you, too!!
