Everyone loves this cake so much that I have to make it several times during the summer. Instead of making a "flag" with the berries I just place 20-40 blueberries and 20 strawberry halves on the top to make out the 20 portions. This way I can serve it for different occasions such as graduation parties, Father's Day, baby & bridal showers, etc. My local supermarket also sells both strawberry and blueberry pound cake which is absolutely delicious in this recipe. I never seem to have any left over to bring home!!

I love this cake!!! I made it for my 4th of July party and everyone loved it. Easy to make and very pretty. I used sugar free jello so less calories and sugar.

This recipe was easy and fun to make. Next time I think I will omit the pound cake, though. I did not like the consistency of the pound cake. It was too soggy for my taste. however, everyone else didn't seem to mind.

Everyone raved about this dessert and wanted the recipe. I can see doing the same thing with other fruits and themes. I made it thinking the little kids would eat it rather than the apricot cobbler I also made. But the grownups scarfed it up.
