In highschool I had a cooking class and one of our assignments was to find recipes to make for our Mother's Day dinner. We made this little snack for our Mothers when we entertained them with poetry and readings. Everyone enjoyed this little idea and found it very cute!

I took these to school for a class I teach. They were a BIG hit. Since I knew that some kids didn't like cheese, I put grapes on one side and strawberries on the other for those students.

I made this for my sons kindergarten class. He was so proud of it he couldn't wait until snack time. My husband was even a little jealous I didn't make extras. The teacher also emailed me saying what a hit it was. I did one variation. I didn't purchase enough cheddar so I cut up string cheese sticks. It gave it a little more color and still tasted great!
