I made this for my daughter's birthday and she loved it and it was so easy to make.

I made this last year and the year before. This year, my son actually asked for it! This year I upgraded the "box cake mix" and added 1 pkg pudding, 3/4c milk, 3.4 oil, 4 eggs - great cake. I have never had the problem with runny icing - it has always been easy to work with. It completely depend on how much you "soften" the butter and cream cheese - so just use caution.

Although mine didn't turn out as pretty as the picture, my family was still impressed. Next time I will probably use a different frosting. I plan to take it to Thanksgiving.

Half the frosting would be more than plenty for this cake. It came out fantastic and was a big hit at our Halloween party! I piped black frosting for a Jack-o-Lantern and placed fall leaves from the garden around the base of the pumpkin. Super cute!

This was a hit at my company party and for someone who doesn't bake that much it was surprisingly easy. Great addition to any fall gathering!

I enjoyed making this cake. I took my time frosting it, and it turned out pretty good. I used a plastic bag for the piping and it worked great. The trick is to cut off a teeny tiny piece from the corner of the bag. So the cake was easy to make. I thought the frosting was just okay. I will definately make this cake again, but I will use a different frosting.

I made this cake with my 10 yr old daughter - it was alot of fun and she did most of the baking. I brought the cake to work and my co-workers were very impressed that a non baker could make such a thing. My cake pan had a larger opening then the cone so we put a shot glass in the middle so that the cone would not fall thru. It was a very sweet cake also.

This turned out so cute. The frosting was a little bit runny so I added more powdered sugar. Then for an added touch, I added plastic spiders onto the cake. I plan on making this again for Thanksgiving.

I made it with my favorite chocolate chip cake. My granddaughter (age 9) helped and she frosted it.
