I actually saw this on the Kraft calendar for January and my husband begged me to make it! But I made home-made dough with bisquick and then we used spiral sliced ham, and turkey breast with swiss, mayo and bacon to make it a club. it was s hit!! the entire loafwas gone in no time! we also added lettuce after it was cooked for the true club sandwich delight!

Recipe is good but we like this variation- Shaved ham, mozzerella cheese, mushrooms and spaghetti sauce. On this variation we do not use the parmesan on top and use a thin layer of sauce and a little extra on the side for dipping. We also like to make it with pepperoni, mozzerella and sauce.

My son & I made this recipe. We are still ironing out exactly what we like in it. It is fun to figure out & is including the whole family. My son is going to make it the next time my mom is in town.

This is very easy and so good!! My own "Pizza Version" is: take 2 Italian sausage links out of their casings and brown like you would ground beef. Drain. Mix in about 1/2 cup pizza sauce and other toppings, we like mushrooms and sliced black olives. Sprinkle the filling with mozzarella before sealing up the dough. It's yummy!

Excellent Game Day Treat. I've also made these into "meatball subs". They are "Wonderful". This game day, I'm making these with Ham, Loraine Swiss and Black & Green Olive Salad/Spread, my game day version of the New Orleans Muffuletta. Also, Philly-Cheese Steak with grilled peppers and lots of grilled onions, with Steak Sauce and Mustard Dipping Sauce. Yummm...

I used croissant dough for a different, but very good taste, it didn't need to cook in oven as long. Very fast and tastey!

I've made variations of this recipe in the past--like turkey, roasted red peppers, spinach and mozzarella. HUGE hit any way you make it! It will definitely be the showcase for this weekend's parties. GO STEELERS!!!
