Ham & Cheddar in a Loaf

What You Need

lb. frozen bread dough, thawed

pkg. (9 oz.) OSCAR MAYER Deli Fresh Smoked Ham

cup KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese

1/4

cup MIRACLE WHIP Dressing

egg, beaten

Tbsp. KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese

Make It

HEAT oven to 350°F.

FLATTEN dough on lightly floured surface. Roll into 12x8-inch rectangle with rolling pin. Top with ham to within 1/2 inch of edges. Mix cheddar and dressing; spread over ham.

MOISTEN edges of dough with water. Fold lengthwise into thirds; pinch seams together to seal. Place, seam-side down, on lightly greased baking sheet. Cut several slits in top. Brush with egg; sprinkle with Parmesan.

BAKE 35 to 40 min. or until golden brown. Cool 10 min. before slicing.

Veggie Lover's: Use OSCAR MAYER Deli Fresh Smoked Turkey Breast, substitute PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese Spread for the dressing and add 1/2 cup shredded carrots to the filling.

We were surprised we liked this as much as we did. My husband, who doesn't especially like cheese, would have rated it a little lower, but the rest of us enjoyed it.

I used pillsbury refreg. pizza dough. Next Time I think I will add more cheese and use thicker meat. This was a nice way to eat sandwiches without it being the same old thing. May try a cheese only one for my daughter who dislikes ham.

We really enjoyed the recipe. But the baking time makes it a cool weather recipe in our home. We took the time to search out last fallsFood and Family book, just so we could make it again this year.

It's good but I think you need to add more mayo. Otherwise it's a little dry.

I made this recipe for our x-mas party. I made 2 loafs and i never even got a piece! Making it again today 4 loaves for trivia nite. Tring roast beef & moz., and a taco lovers.
