This was far too cheesy. The cheese made the bread taste oily.

My family LOVED this recipe! My 4 year old is going through a picky-eating stage and she had 2 helpings! I used real mayo, and about 1 1/2 cups of cheddar cheese. It was delicious with the ham, and I have also decided to try this next time with roast beef.

I made this last year and just now found the recipe again. My kids and I love this sandwich! We made it exactly as the recipe says. Hubby doesn't like it, but that's ok because it leaves more for us. I use the biggest package of refrigerated dough that I can find, usually 13oz, and it works out pefect. We've even went as far as to make Italian ones with mozzarella cheese, pizza sauce, pepperonis, and some veggies.

I mixed this recipe with the cheesy calzone one and used the ingredients with pizza crust. It turned out well.

Great kid-friendly meal. I will try some alterations on this to experiment - like roast beef and mozzarella or turkey and swiss. It was a hit with my kids and husband.

It was very good and my kids did OK with it. I let them help me roll out the dough thinking they would be more likely to eat it. Next time I will not add so much miracle whip and cheese. It was overwhelming.
