My husband ate the whole loaf in one sitting! Hard tp believe , but it's true. I'm going to make it again, so the whole family could actually taste it before it disappears again. I used the honey kind instead of the regular deli ham. It made it tastier.

My daughter is eight and was able to prepare this all on her own. She served it with a soup we made together and dinner was a hit. The best part was she took leftovers to school in her lunch and was able to tell everyone she made it herself. She did not like it as well cold as she did out of the oven, but she wanted to make it again last night so she would have more leftovers.

My grandson is 7 years old, and loves to cook with me. We made this bread and it was a hit, even with Grandpa...I also made it in the smaller loafs, as it was easier for him to handle. Just one comment, I think you should also use young boys in the kids section, girls aren't the only ones who like to mess up grandma's kitchen ya know....MMM-good !!

We really loved this recipe. We made little loaves--one for each person. It was easier for my son to handle rolling out the dough and filling them that way. Plus he made each one special. We tried the pizza version also, and it was also good, but the filling was a little more drippy than the ham and cheese!

I used mayo instead of Miracle Whip and shredded Parmesan Cheese instead of grated and it was wonderful - My family LOVED this. I had already thought about making it in smaller individual loafs so that the cheese wouldn't melt out when cooked. I am planning on experimenting with other ingredients like pizza (tomato sauce, mozz cheese and beef, etc) or a Philly Cheese Steak
