Bruschetta Chicken Bake

Comfort casserole, meet bruschetta. The perfectly balanced bite of tomatoes, garlic, chicken and mozzarella is the inspiration for this hearty dish.

What You Need

can (14-1/2 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained

pkg. (6 oz.) STOVE TOP Stuffing Mix for Chicken

1/2

cup water

cloves garlic, minced

1-1/2

lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces

tsp. dried basil leaves

cup KRAFT 2% Milk Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Make It

HEAT oven to 400ºF.

step 1

MIX tomatoes, stuffing mix, water and garlic just until stuffing mix is moistened.

step 2

PLACE chicken in 3-qt. casserole sprayed with cooking spray; sprinkle with basil and cheese.

step 3

TOP with stuffing. Bake 30 min. or until chicken is done.

Substitute

Prepare using STOVE TOP Lower Sodium Stuffing Mix for Chicken.

Make Ahead

Prepare and bake recipe as directed; cool. Refrigerate up to 24 hours. To reheat, spoon each serving onto microwaveable plate. Microwave on HIGH 2 to 3 min. or until heated through.

Serving Suggestion

Serve with steamed Italian-style vegetables.

Easy & tasty. I even halved the chicken & only used half of the stuffing mixture to make just 3 servings.

Good recipe... I added cream of mushroom to make it creamier, and used italian stuffing. I used more cheese too. I just wish the stuffing didn't get so soggy:(

The first time I cooked this recipe, I used the suggested ingredients. The second time I had to use cheddar but it was still just as good. I even cooked for picky in-laws who said they loved it too.

I added a nice size jalapeno ,scored down side garlic, and extra cheese, Yum Yum!! oh, I removed the whole pepper after dish was done.

Not only quick and easy, but delicious! I recommend adding extra garlic and substituting canned diced tomatoes with garlic, basil and oregano.

I added a bit more cheese and extra garlic and spices (garlic and onion powder, italian seasoning) and it was fantastic!!! My husband is a picky eater and he loved it!

This meal was very good and easy to make. I used cornbread stuffing mix instead of chicken, fat free chicken broth instead of water and added chopped onions. I served this with a garden salad and fat-free kraft dressing which made a completely fulfilling and tasty meal.

This is so easy! I prepared this dish for my friend's family and they loved it as well. This recipe is circulating through the NICU where I work. This is the perfect recipe for the family on the go!
