Bruschetta Chicken Bake

Comfort casserole, meet bruschetta. The perfectly balanced bite of tomatoes, garlic, chicken and mozzarella is the inspiration for this hearty dish.

What You Need

can (14-1/2 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained

pkg. (6 oz.) STOVE TOP Stuffing Mix for Chicken

1/2

cup water

cloves garlic, minced

1-1/2

lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces

tsp. dried basil leaves

cup KRAFT 2% Milk Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Make It

HEAT oven to 400ºF.

step 1

MIX tomatoes, stuffing mix, water and garlic just until stuffing mix is moistened.

step 2

PLACE chicken in 3-qt. casserole sprayed with cooking spray; sprinkle with basil and cheese.

step 3

TOP with stuffing. Bake 30 min. or until chicken is done.

Substitute

Prepare using STOVE TOP Lower Sodium Stuffing Mix for Chicken.

Make Ahead

Prepare and bake recipe as directed; cool. Refrigerate up to 24 hours. To reheat, spoon each serving onto microwaveable plate. Microwave on HIGH 2 to 3 min. or until heated through.

Serving Suggestion

Serve with steamed Italian-style vegetables.

Super easy to make and the family loved it! I added some carrots and pine nuts....this recipe is now a favorite of my little girl!

This recipe was very tasty and easy to make. I added chicken broth instead of water and italian stewed tomatos. It went great with a side sald.

I added this to my favorite's I used chicken broth instead of water , I buttered bottom of baking dish and added little broth over chicken.. topped stuffing mix with dots of butter

I made this last night. The chicken stuck to the bottom of the pan and was well over cooked. The stuffing never got crisp enough though. Perhaps it was the pan I used to cook it in. I thought it would be delicious. Maybe Ill try it again with some kind of soup over the chicken to keep it from drying out?
