Made this tonight & will make again. Hubby does not like tomatoes but went back for seconds. Made as stated but used a can of fire roasted diced tomatoes and did not have mozzarella so used a cup of cheddar/provolone mix. Usually I change all recipes to meet my tastes, but honestly did not alter this one and it was a huge success. Will keep in my rotation for sure... tasty & economical!

I haven't made this in a while so I had to look it up. I used to bake it in a 13x9 pan but tried a deeper round casserole dish this time - following the picture at the top. I think I like it in the flatter pan better because I love the crunchy bread on top and the flat pan has more surface area than the round casserole dish.

I cook extra meals for a variety of friends and everyone always asks for the recipe when I make this. I have also used cooked ground chicken.

Have made this several times. I always brown the bite size chicken pieces before putting the ingredients together. Gives it some color and also helps to be sure the chicken is cooked completely. I add additional garlic, basil & cheese. This avoids the dish from tasting bland.

I use jarred pesto instead of basil leaves, but this dish is a huge hit with my family.

I made this last night and it was very good!!! I used gluten-free bread and made my own stuffing mix. My husband and I found it very tasty.

Very easy, quick, and satisfying! Instead of just putting Basil into the mix, I actually combined the chicken with an Italian herb mix which gave the chicken a nice kick. On top of that the juice from the tomatoes makes the chicken very moist and delicious! It's a hit in my family now :).

It was delicious and I used turkey stuffing mix as that's what I had, but it made no difference. I emailed the recipe to my daughter in Ohio and she made it also. She and her husband also enjoyed it. Very good!
