This was a great last-minute dinner idea. I had all the ingredients on hand and it was quick and easy. It was pretty tasty, but not outstanding. I'd make it again but maybe try to jazz it up a bit more next time.

I loved this recipe, I used a pound of bacon cut into small pieces instead of bacon bits and added a cup of corn. I found it gave it more colour and tasted very yummy!!!!

This was very yummy and easy to make. I used chicken broth instead of water to give it even more sesoning. The kids loved it...what else can I say?!

I thought that this recipe was very good and I would make it again, but I took the advice of another and added shrimp and brocolli instead of chicken and peas. My family enjoyed it more that way. The only thing I must point out is that you need to make sure to use MINUTE rice because normal rice will not cook quick enough.

My husband liked this recipe but I didn't. I think it was the bacon bits. I would use real bacon.

I actually substituted shrimp for the chicken and celery and broccoli for the peas. I also cooked and crumbled my own bacon. Overall it was very tasty--just make sure not to let it simmer too long or it will start to dry out. Will make again (maybe try chicken next time).
