Chicken Tortilla Soup

Chicken Tortilla Soup recipe
A Southwestern cousin of mom’s chicken soup, this one has a little more kick with a crispy topping. And, like its best-loved relative, it’ll make you feel good all over.

BEST RECIPIE EVER!

Very good! Just like the restaurants. Easy to fix. Next time I might double the recipe it in order to have some leftovers (it would also use up the packages of salsa/tortillas/cheese etc).

Delicious and simple! I used tortilla chips instead of making them and served with sour cream on top. I will definitely make this soup again

My husband says this is now in his top 5 favorite recipes. He had 3 helpings! I added 2 cups of salsa, shredded the chicken, and added more corn. I thought it could use the corn pureed or even black beans, but my husband begged me to never change it.

I am not a big fan of soup in general, but I liked this one. We served it with french bread and ate it on a cold Sunday afternoon.

This soup was soooo good! I did add a little more corn, and also some black beans, and some tobasco and cayenne because we like it spicy! So good though, better than any restaurant's I've ever tasted!

I made this for my boyfriends birthday and it was amazing! We order this soup at a local restaurant & i hoped mine would compare to theirs but we both agreed this was better! I followed the recipe and added a can of Campbells Fiesta Cheese soup to thicken.

Made this and my husband talked about it for days. Something I am going to keep in regular rotation at my house.

This recipe was so quick and easy. I let it simmer on the stove for an hour or so and it tasted like I had been cooking all day! I froze the left-overs and it tasted even better the second time.

I added rice and hot salsa for more flavor. This recipe is great. I found already made tortilla strips at the store which made it even easier.
