o.k. but needs more flavor so I added my own onion salt/pepper.

I love this recipe! It's a staple for me through the fall and winter.

Horrible! Taste like watery A1 sauce, never again.

This was an awesome recipe and everyone loved it. Instead of croutons, I put a slice of toasted garlic bread on top, covered it with the cheese and broiled it. Yummy!

When I made this recipe I cooked the whole soup for 30 minutes to let the flavors combine together and it was awesome! I also served it in bread bowls which allowed for the meal to go farther and be more filling.

Although this was easy to make, we were disappointed with the flavor. Perhaps it was my own fault. I used sweet onions and didn't have any croutons. The result was a too sweet and pretty darn boring soup with an odd A1 flavor lingering in the background. I probably won't make this again, but if I do, I'll be sure to have strongly flavored (herb and garlic) croutons and regular yellow onions.

I thought this recipe was awful. I ended up having to add 2 cans of Campbells French Onion soup to it & also thyme, basil leaves, and lots of pepper to give it some kind of flavor.

Very tasty, easy to make. My husband said it was just as good as any he'd had in restaurants! Thanks!!
