My family loved this dish even my pickly 11 yr. old daughter! It is even great cold the next day. I served it with Kraft's Quick Chicken Parmesan receipe. Delicious! This will definitely be a keeper!
YUMMY! It was great. I would say it is better the second day, slightly warmed.
I doubled the recipe and served hot. It was yummy! I have leftovers in the refrigerator and am anxious to try it cold!
The first time I made this dish I served it hot. The cold leftovers were much better - they had absorbed the flavor. I also added some chopped up bacon and mixed the Balsamic Vinaigrette with some Zesty Italian.
This was a so-so pasta. Not too much flavor in my opinion. I added more of the vinagrette than was originally in the recipe, plus added a few more herbs and spices. Also, I used grated asiago and parmesan cheese mixed instead of just plain parmesan. I do agree with the other review writer that it does taste better the second day. While we ate ours warm like the recipe said, it had more flavor after being refrigerated and served cold the next day. It pairs nicely with the Chicken Bruschetta bake on this site as well for a nice Italian meal type night.
I made this as a cold pasta salad for a BBQ. All the same ingredients were used but nothing was cooked. I got rave reviews! the way it tastes better the second day.
This is a great recipe to help use up those prolific garden tomatoes! You can use whatever you have, size doesn't matter! Since you don't need to seed or peel, prep time is minimal. The short cooking time of the tomatoes plus the fresh basil make this a very tasty dish!
I added pepperoni to this recipe and the family loved it!!!
Boring and tasteless but easy to make. Salad elegance might help this receipe.
This recipe reminded me of tomato, basil pasta dishes I've enjoyed in restaurants. Why not add a grilled chicken breast seasoned with the salad dressing?
