I made this for a party and now many people request I make it again. It is very easy to make and SO good.

This is such an amazing recipe! I used canned pears in heavy syrup to save time and sprinkled cinnamon on top.Prep time was probably only around 10 min! This is my new favorite dessert!

Next time I'll use real butter and make a thicker crust.

Great recipe: easy and looks smashing. It was a hit at the picnic. 2 things that I did differently: *Baked at 425 for about 13-14 minutes before proceeding at 375 *Drizzled with chocolate when cool.

Delicious! The dough is a little sticky to work with, if you have a small one-handed roller, like Pampered Chef sells, dip it in flour and roll the dough into the pan. I have made this twice, and it does take me more like 45 minutes to prep it, but it's worth it, it gets rave reviews! I use the 1/3 less fat cream cheese too, and it's fine.

Since this was first published it has become my "fancy dessert" that I bring when invited out. Everyone always loves it, and it looks like it took a lot more effort than it did.

I made 3 of these for a function, using the 1/3 less fat cream cheese. It was very easy to make and the cooking time was right on the mark. It turned out great and was a hit with everyone. The only time consuming part was peeling and cutting the pears! Worth every minute.
