Very good, went over well at Thanksgiving. People liked how it looked too!

I definitely think this is a recipe that you would make for company (somewhat time-consuming b/c of the peeling and slicing pears, but definitely worth every minute!). It is a very beautiful torte when done and it puts all the tasters in awe...thanks Kraft!

I made this recipe only I used apples and almonds and my family loved it. I'm going to make it again on Thanksgiving for my fiance's job. Thanks kraft.

Great dish! Will make for Thanksgiving. Crust was VERY thin and had trouble getting it off pan bottom. Also had trouble telling when center was "set." Any suggestions for a thicker crust (as it appears in picture) and telling when it's set? Thanks!

Made this for my garden club and the girls thought it was UNBELIEVEABLE!!!! I am going to make again for the holidays, but I might try it with apple.

I have made this twice, and used apples instead of pears the second time. Everyone enjoyed the apple version more. It was even better the second day. It is so easy to make!

I made this recipe when we had our new neighbor over for the first time. I didn't have any pears when I wanted to make this, so I used Jonah Gold apples instead. Turned out FANTASTIC! My neighbor and my husband BOTH ate 2 slices, and my husband not much of a dessert eater! I'm making it again tonight for a "girl's night in" dinner I'm having tomorrow!

This looks like something our whole family would like. We like desserts cooked with cream cheese. Also love pear cobbler. This is a new twist for us. I know we'll love it!

Very easy to make and even easier to eat! The only trouble that I had was keeping the husband away.
