easy to make . . we eat a lot of chicken like to try different things
This is really wonderful! I doubled the tomatoes too, and used 4 chicken breasts, cut in half. They were incredibly tender and tasty! And an added bonus, when I plugged my recipe into Weight Watchers, this dish only had 3.5 points! (for 8 servings) I will definitely be making this again!
This recipe was great. My husband loved it!!!!
I used bonless breast in big chunks instead of thighs. I also served it over noodles instead of rice. Very easy to make!
Very easy and good, next time I'll just add another can of tomatoes because I like to soak up the sauce with bread.
I found this recipe when looking for something to cook up my odds and ends, bone-in chicken thighs (I removed all the skin and as much fat as possible). Also, I didn't have the Kraft tomato vinegarette or lemon; so instead, I used the Kraft balsamic vinegarette as well as a 28oz. can of tomatoes with the carrots and flour. A big hit and VERY tasty! Next time, I will make the recipe as directed and see how that tastes. Thanks, Kraft!
The first time I made this, I followed the recipe. The next time I made it I only had about 45 minutes to get dinner made and this was requested. I never realized this could be made on the stove and not all day in the crock pot. I have since made it twice on the stove with no complaints, and plenty of raves. So if someone is looking for a quick delicious meal, this is a great one.
i'm so not a cook and was looking for easy crock pot receipes to cook while i was at work. this one came out soooo good, even my husband was impressed. i used 4 skinlees boneless chicken breasts instead. took the advice of some other posts and doubled the stewed tomatoes and carrots but nothing else. the chicken was moist..i cut it in pieces and ate this like a stew over rice. and for the leftovers...i cooked cornbread to eat with it the next night. it was awesome!!!!
I added a bit of basil to the sauce. The lemon gave it just that little bit of zing that brings a smile to the face of the diner.
very good, but needed a little more spice. i used onions, carrots, bay leaf, italian seasonings, but still needed a little something. cinnamon perhaps?
