Christmas is coming up and my whole family loves pies, this recipe is terrific and seems so easy to make, though, it takes time but, it should taste great.

Truly is the perfect apple pie. I have not made a pie since I was 16 when my first crust failed. The pie crust is ultrasimple and melts in your mouth. Perfect for the holidays.

I never made an apple pie before and after reading several recipes I tried this one. It was easy to follow and turned out wonderful but I did use 6 apples instead of 4. My husband said it was the best apple pie he ever had and was better than his mom's (who has been baking apple pies for years!)

EASY AS 1-2-3. I WOULD USE AT LEAST A CUP MORE APPLES NEXT TIME. I MADE THE DOUGH IN THE FOOD PROCESSER FOR EXTRA EASE. I ALSO EMBELLISED THE CRUST WITH SMALL LEAVES AROUND THE EDGE AND VARIOUS SIZES ON THE TOP THAT I MADE WITH COOKIE CUTTERS. NEXT TIME I'M GONNA MAKE ONE WITH ACORN COOKIE CUTTERS, THE TASTE WAS WONDERFUL!! HAPPY FALL EVERYONE!!!
