This was the first time ever for an apple pie. Recipe easy to follow. Asked everyone in the supermarket what kind of apples to use. Used three different ones. Also used Splenda instead of sugar. The best part was using the saran wrap. I want to make another apple pie tonight. One question, do you put the apples in lemon juice first, then in the sugar or mix the lemon juice with sugar. Not quuite clear on that.

I used thinly sliced Cameo apples and used more apples than the recipe called for. I also added some caramel. It was a little juicy (more cornstarch next time) but it was perfect with vanilla ice cream.

I used the pre-made crusts to cut down on time. The apple mixture was great! We loved it!

I bought the crust (Pillsbury roll-out crust) and made the filling. I use 2 different kinds of apples for more of a unique taste. Instead of 3/4 sugar I used 1/2 cup of sugar and 1/4 cup of brown sugar. I make it this way all the time and everyone loves it. There's never a piece left over. I will be making it again for Thanksgiving dinner.

This was the easiest pie recipe. I have tryed others and this one was the best I ever made. I can't wait until my husband comes home from work to have some!

I thought this recipe looked great and I loved the simplicity of the ingredients, but when I tried to roll out the crust it was a disaster! I followed the directions but the crust would not roll out. After several attempts, I ended up going to the store and buying a crust! Hope you have better luck than I did!

this was my first time baking a pie, and I was surprised how it came out, I was proud of myself. The only thing that I would do diffrently when I make it again is to add a litte sugar to the crust. the crust was flaky but not a lot of taste to it, sugar may do the trick

Lost all my recipe books in a recent move and am trying to remember my old stand bys and don't want to forget anything so I'm getting recipes online and then adding my own extras as I remember them.

We loved this recipe. Used pre-made crusts but was perfect. Just finished it and must go out to get more because it was just that good. I added slightly more cornstarch to make it less runny, probably no more than another tsp.
