I've made this pie once and it was great; not too juicy or too sweet. I'm getting ready to make it for the second time, but I'll double the amount of apples called for in the recipe. The first time I made it, the apples cooked down so much that there was a depression in the pie... it certainly didn't take away from the taste though!

this recipe is good but when i put the apples into the crust i didn't add the juice so the pie was kind of dry

Its really fun to make and a great way to spend time with you kids. Not only can you make the pie with them, but afterwords you can all sit down and have a slice.

We are not a pie eating family, but both my husband and I LOVED it.

This pie lasted 1 1/2 days in my house. (My husband and myself) We are not big eaters, so for a pie to only last that long it had to be GREAT! We loved it and I will make it again very soon.

I loved this recipe! I had never made pie crust before, so I was a little afraid of what the result might be. It turned out great! Flakey and tender. Truly the perfect, fool-proof pie recipe. I will definitely be making this again.

Wonderful flaky crust-I used the tip in the magazine sent to my house to roll it out between two pieces of saran wrap-it worked very well. The filling was delicious. My husband and children absolutely loved it!
