Delicious! I cooked in three pans instead of splitting the layers into four. Frosting is outstanding with the pumpkin pie spice added and the large portion allowed me to frost top and sides, too - then I drizzled the caramel and added the pecans. Yummmm! A new "favorite"!

I made this cake for a party at work and everyone complimented it over and over. There was none left for me to have a slice! I did skip the nuts and iced the top as well. It was a hit!

I made this cake for my in-laws aniversary and the loved it so much that they want me to make it for their Thanksgiving. They also gave my parents some of it and my mom would also like for me to make her one for her Thanksgiving. I highly recommend this cake if you are a pumpkin pie lover. You'll never want pumpkin pie again!

I made this for my 'baby' sister's birthday in September. All of my three sisters asked for this recipe! I have made also made it once more since then and I have to say that the right choice of caramel topping really adds or detracts in a big way. Also, if you don't have the nerve to cut it into four layers, two layers still tastes absolutely delicious! This one is in my recipe tin from now on!

I made this for my friends to taste test before my First Thanksgiving Dinner at my house and it won with an enthusiastic two thumbs up as a nice unique recipe. I made extra filling to ice the whole cake which made it even more decadent.
