This cake was very easy to make, especially since you don't have to frost the whole thing. I took it to our tailgate (Go K-State!) and it was a hit! I will be making this again and again! Next time I will sprinkle the pecans between the layers as well as on top for pecans in every bite!

This is a very tastey cake, most too. Only problem I had was making it 4 layers. Next time I make it I will do 2 layers. I'll dripple the topping over the top. (for Halloween I'll dripple like a spider web)

This cake looks incredible - and better yet, tastes incredible! I don't love pumpkin pie but my entire family does - so I am always trying to find great pumpkin desserts. This one I even loved. I made it just like the recipe says and it was great!

The cake presentation is classy. (the first thing you see) The slicing of the cake is visual but allows the sence of smell to get involved. The pumpkin smells wonderful, so now you want to taste it. And it itastes as good as it looks. The different textures of the cake and the filling play on your tongue. I did an extra step. I added a couple of ounces of Alpple Jack to the carmel before drizzling it over the cake for a little more adult interest.

I used this recipe at our neigborhood bunco night. Many people requested the recipe. Good alternative to a pumpkin pie, and very easy to make.
