This cake was impressive tasting and looking. I will make this again. It is great for a family harvest dinner or just for any time. Delicious all the way!!!! I want more recipes like this!!!

I made the cake thinking my husband wouldn't really like it I gave 1/2 to my daughter to take home and gave my son a 1/4 so my husband only got to try a little. Well guess what I had to make another and was instructed not to share..
I won a first place trophy in a bake-off with this recipe. Then I had people asking me to make more of them for them to take home. This cake is wonderful, especially for the holidays.

Delicious!!! I made the filling while the cake was baking so that I could thoroughly chill it while I waited on the cake. After assembling the cake and filling I added cool whip to the top only. Then topped it with the pecans and caramel sauce. I took this to my club meeting at a restaurant. It was beautiful and looked absolutely yummy. Looks didn't deceive it. It was awesome. Even the waitresses ask for a piece. can't wait to make another one.
I made this cake this weekend. I made the cake in the morning and let it cool. I assembled the layers right before dinner and let it get good and cold. My family loved it. Very easy, even the neighbors had a taste and I've been passing the recipe along. I will definitely make this for Thanksgiving.
