We had this for a gathering of friends recently. I thought it was amazing. It was also very pretty on a cake stand, and even prettier plated. My friend said she usually cuts the pieces, then individually applies the caramel and a few pecans on each piece. Elegant!!

I made this cake for a family get together and it was a big hit. I love to try recipes with pumpkin and this cake was so yummy and traveled very well without sliding or tipping. I just added the pecans and caramel before putting on the table.

I LOVE this cake - everytime I make it people ask for the recipe! It's even better after a day or two when the cake has really absorbed the caramel - however it's usually all eaten by that point!! YUM!!! :)

I have made this cake for family Holiday gatherings and not only was it a beautiful centerpiece, but it was delicious and gobbled up both times, a few family members have made it since then also. This will be a new Holiday tradition! So simple to assemble, but so impressive looking!
